With age comes wisdom.....Unfortunately, age also brings wrinkles and other visible signs of aging.  Devlin Cosmetic Surgery offers injectable treatments to help combat some of the natural signs of aging.

All of us develop fine facial lines and wrinkles over time that make us appear older.  By using Botox, Dysport or Xeomin, Dr. Michael Devlin can help relax the muscles of the face so that you appear younger.

Most people have heard of Botox or Dysport, but very few have heard of Xeomin– which is the most recent Botox competitor to hit the market.  Xeomin (otherwise known as botulinum toxin type A) blocks nerve activity in the muscles that causes a temporary reduction in muscle activity and thereby reduces wrinkles.

So what is Xeomin?

Xeomin and Botox are actually very similar.  They are both botulinum toxin type A and the same units are used for treatment.  There is a slight difference with Xeomin in that it is more pure than Botox.  What this means is that it does contain any additional additives. Because Xeomin is more pure, a person is less likely to develop an allergy or become resistant to the effects.  Xeomin is used to reduce the appearance of wrinkles associated with facial movement.

The conditions most commonly treated by Xeomin are:

  •  Frown lines
  • Forehead lines
  • Crow’s feet
  • Bunny lines(on the nose)
  • Smoker’s lines around the mouth.

Xeomin, Botox or Dysport can also lift and arch the eyebrows, giving the appearance of a temporary Browlift (who wouldn't want this?)

How long does it take to see results?

Both Botox and Xeomin take about 7 days before the full effects are seen. Dysport, on the other hand, shows a slightly quicker onset time with the same three months of wrinkle reduction.

How long does it last?

Xeomin lasts 3-4 months on average but will vary between each individual person. It is not necessary to wait 3 months to return for treatment. You may return for your next Xeomin treatment as soon as there is more movement or wrinkles than you would like. It is recommended at the time of your treatment to schedule your next appointment for optimal anti- aging and preventive benefit.

Will Xeomin make me look frozen or unnatural?

Xeomin should not dramatically change your facial appearance.  You should still be able to smile, frown or look surprised, which is your normal facial expressions.  After Xeomin treatments at Devlin Cosmetic Surgery you will still remain you, just a more youthful version.

How much does Xeomin cost in Little Rock Arkansas?

Xeomin is slightly less expensive than Botox treatments.  You can expect to spend approximately $250-300 on the site treated.

At Devlin Cosmetic Surgery we will help you determine the most appropriate treatment method for your individual needs.

All injections are personally administered by Dr. Devlin. With over 15 years experience with injectables, who better can you trust with your face?
